Offer for Students
Training Sessions and Orientation Sessions
First-Semester Orientation Sessions
At the beginning of each semester, all students are cordially invited to attend our orientation sessions.
We’ll show you the basics of using the library, including:
- How do I find books in the library catalog?
- Where can I find these books inside the library?
- How do I check out and renew books?
- How do I access e-books and journal articles?
- What databases and other digital resources are available, and how do I find them?
- Where can I study in the library?
Dates will be announced on our website at the start of each semester.

In addition, we offer more in-depth training sessions on literature research and other topics by arrangement. Examples include:
- What types of publications are there, and in which research sources can I find them?
- Where can I search specifically for current literature on my topic for my term paper, bachelor’s thesis, or master’s thesis?
- How do I find the right databases?
- What is Zotero, and how do I use it?
If you’re interested, please send us an email.
Please note!
The course will only take place if at least 5 people have registered 2 days before the scheduled date!
