Under the DEAL transformation agreements, members of the respective participating institutions can publish under capped terms and conditions and receive reader access to a large portion of the respective journal portfolios.

RWU is currently participating in the DEAL agreements with Springer and Elsevier.
Open Access Policy and Open Access Guidelines of the PH Weingarten
Since 2018, the PH Weingarten has had an open-access policy.
Since 2023, with the entry into force of the open access policy, a publication fund has also been in place. Applications can be submitted to this fund to cover the costs of open access publications.
