K10plus
K10plus is based on library data from ten German states, the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation, and other institutions. As a result, K10plus includes data from the majority of public universities and colleges in Germany. In addition, it includes renowned research institutions such as the Leibniz Institutes, the Helmholtz Centers, the Max Planck Institutes, and others.

KVK
The KVK is a free and openly accessible meta-search engine. A meta-search engine is a search engine that simultaneously forwards a search query to several other search engines, collects the results, and compiles them. The databases queried include all German-language and numerous international library catalogs, as well as cross-library databases (e.g., the Journal Database (ZDB)) and search engines such as BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine) or Google Scholar.
This catalog is ideal for interlibrary loan when the desired literature is not available in your own library.

WorldCat / OCLC
OCLC WorldCat is the world’s largest bibliographic database. It lists the holdings of approximately 72,000 libraries from around the world.

DNB
The catalog includes the holdings of the Leipzig branch since 1913, the Frankfurt am Main branch since 1945, the holdings of the German Music Archive since 1976 (including the Bonn Catalog and the collection of historical sound recordings), and the archival materials of the German Exile Archive (1933–1945) since 2005. It includes monographs, journals, maps and atlases, music publications and sound recordings, dissertations and postdoctoral theses published in Germany since 1913 in print or electronic form, as well as translations from German into other languages and foreign-language Germanica (since 1941). The German National Library is a reference library; it does not participate in interlibrary loan.

Electronic Journal Library (EZB)
The Electronic Journal Library is a collaborative service provided by 665 libraries (as of October 2024) with the goal of offering their users easy and convenient access to scholarly journals published electronically. For more information, see: EZB

Journal Database (ZDB)
The Journal Database (ZDB) is the world’s largest database for title and holdings information on serial publications—that is, journals, newspapers, series, and periodicals from all countries in print or electronic form and in all languages. The ZDB comprises more than 2.1 million titles dating from 1500 to the present and documents the holdings of 3,800 German and Austrian libraries for these titles.
The ZDB does not list individual articles.

Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
The database lists over 5.5 million articles from journals in all disciplines from more than 120 countries and in 80 languages that can be accessed directly online.
The entries are curated by the DOAJ community, which is considered independent and is funded by donations. The listed journal titles use peer review to select their articles. Additional titles are continuously added. Scope: approximately 20,300 journals with approximately 8.8 million articles and weekly updates.
