Here you will find guidelines for ordering materials through the library via a faculty's library liaison.

Books and journal articles that are not available in the library's collection can be requested through interlibrary loan.
Please note that by submitting an interlibrary loan request, you are entering into a legally binding obligation to pay the interlibrary loan fee, and that you may not use the requested copies for commercial purposes.

Fee 

A processing fee of 1.50 euros is charged per order and must be paid in any case, regardless of whether the request is successful. To pay this fee, you will need so-called TAN numbers, which you can obtain at the library circulation desk or by emailing fernleihe@hs-weingarten.de. The fee will be posted to your library account, and you can then pay it online. You can find the necessary information for the online transfer here.

Duration

 Delivery usually takes 1–3 weeks, though sometimes it may take longer. If you need the order by a specific date, please indicate this when placing your order.

The following are excluded from interlibrary loan
: - new books published in the current
year - diploma, master’s, and admission theses, Bachelor’s and
Master’s theses—e-books and
e-journals—
loose-leaf publications—
journal issues—newspapers and
newspaper articles—works not intended for academic or study purposes 
- Literature available in bookstores that
costs less than €15.00- Particularly old and valuable works
 

Please note: Books ordered or reserved through interlibrary loan are only available during service hours!
